By holding this two day event, the World Congress hopes to encourage networking and information sharing between transportation professionals from around the world and those who will follow them—our high school, university, and graduate students who have shown or declared an interest in the field of transportation.

Planned Events

  • The ITS World Congress will offer free admittance to university and graduate students and to local (chaperoned) high school classes, to the Exhibit Hall and Technology Showcase (in the Convention Center Parking Lot) on Wednesday, October 19 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and Thursday, October 20 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.

  • Lunch (at 12:30 pm) and US Department of Transportation sponsored session—Becoming a Transportation Professional—to be held in the Exhibit Hall Theater on Thursday at 1:30 pm and followed by a “Meet and Greet” with leaders from the ITS Community.
