This year’s ITS World Congress will highlight the best and brightest innovators and game changers in the transportation industry through a two part program featuring our inaugural Entrepreneurial Village with the ITS America Investor Matching Event; Transportation for Tomorrow.
For the first time ever, the exhibit floor will feature an Entrepreneurial Village where emerging companies will have a dedicated space for promoting their most innovative ideas and technologies that are fueling smarter cities and fundamentally changing the way we move.
Additionally, ITS America will be hosting its second-ever Investor Matching Event as a part of its Annual Meeting. Partnering with premier financial and strategic investment companies Fontinalis Partners, LLC., Econolite Group, Inc., and Raymond James, ITS America will provide competitive young companies and entrepreneurs with the best cutting-edge ideas in sustainability, safety, and mobility in transportation with the opportunity to pitch their ideas for funding.
How Does it Work?
By collecting applications from all interested young businesses involved in sustainability, safety and mobility in transportation, ITS America and the investors have opened the doors to capital for companies selected through a competitive application process, to pitch their plans in Detroit, Michigan during the 2014 ITS World Congress.
By collecting applications from all interested companies, ITS America and investment partners have evaluated applicants on the strength of their proposal.
All companies interested in participating in the program were required to submit a business plan. ITS America staff and investment partners have evaluated the submitted applications, and have selected a limited number to present in Detroit.
Companies that are focused on changing the way America moves, have been in business less than 6 years, have an exciting and competitive business plan, and have received no more than $5 million in funding.
